Any footage on youtube ? HahahahaI belatedly followed @WhistlingBadger’s advice to look around my property for rocks. It has rained heavily every other day. The leaves & soil surface appear dry on the sunny days, but it’s slick underneath. We went to our shallow creek. I saw many rocks of varying sizes. No idea what type of rocks. ID would probably be easy. I’ll ask the right person.
The water ran too swifly for decent pics. It would take a crow bar to pry them out of the creek bed. But some were gorgeous & the tech at Aqueon, company that manufactures my incoming 125 G, told me I can fill it to the top with huge rocks. I will attempt to make some foam rocks with hallowed centers as hides. I can‘t see my way clear to sending hundreds of dollars off to AquaDecor in Serbia for fake rocks when I own the real thing.
It was treacherous descending (at some sections) to the creek. I litterly crawled back up in a few places. Matt had fun behind me with his little Canon Point & shoot. View attachment 150312

you arent hunting the rocks anymoreRock Hunt Gone Bad
The rocks have retaliated and are attacking us, run, run for your lives
The rocks look like granite and should be fine for aquariums. Just give them a good scrub to remove the biofilm that makes them slippery.
Mmmm another risk of our hobby which often is forgotten. "Fishkeeper crushed by boulder" That's why I only hunt for leaves protected by my dog, which was fiercely attacked by an oakleaf last time as you can see.
