Just curious how many filters should be used on a 55-gallon Cichlid tank?? Doing some research and watching some videos on Youtube, some say use 2 some use 1.

For a 55... You honestly could just do one... You also could add a sponge filter along with it ig... Its really up to you. Just don't create a huge flow on the tank where the fish cant swim

i think it's PetSmart's brand, has a 4-stage system. Sorry, I meant TopFin lol
Ohhh, I've heard of those and seen them... Wasnt too sure about the quality so I never got one... They almost look like the aquaclears a bit
I always like to run two filters on all my tanks. Just in case!
One air powered sponge filter and one high capacity HOB would be good.

The filter will say the tank capacity. I tend to go for more. Considering getting 2 of these for a 125 G cichlid tank. I would probably buy one 75 G for yours.
