These are from the first batch of guppies of the cross that I decided to continue breeding with, so separated them from the main tank, I put 1 male and 4 females in, unfortunately one of the females passed into fish heaven.

Dumbo trait is recessive as I'm sure you know, but I was interested in what would happen with this cross.

There was alot of variation of colours, red, yellow, purple, blue, green.

I moved them into this tank about 2 hours before the video so the females seem a bit quieter than usual, should be fine tomorrow.

They've been busy and I've got lots of fry and juveniles, Some are starting to colour up nicely but really looking forward to how they develop.

Anyway, I have shrimp in the tank so left the algae to grow, as they like to graze, just ordered 4 3cm plecos for my 2 main tanks, hopefully get a breeding pair of those once they mature :)

heres the video, watch in HD if possible.

Upon reflection next time I'll side film with my phone

Beautiful fish!

Love your profile picture.

So excited to see how the fry/juvies develop.

I've noticed the Mumma guppies always stick together, kinda cute lol.

Thinking of putting the Father into my other tank to give them more peace, hes a horny bugger. Kept him with them because I wasn't sure which male got to them first.

Question - Females can hold sperm for upto a year? if they drop and he jabs them will they use his fresh swimmers or still the stored?

Profile picture pretty much sums up me.

The female will use the sperm packets randomly. I've read multiple times that a female will use the last donated sperm packets. But that's incorrect. So, if she's mated with more than one male, the offspring of one batch can be fathered by multiple males.
Only when you're sure that she's clean (no storage of sperm packets in the folds of the fallopian tube anymore) or that she's a virgin, you can be sure that the used male will be the father of the total batch of offspring.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.

Luckily the Green Cobra girls were virgins when I got them.

Sorry for double post!

Got this one coming up with a spot on its tail. From unknown parents in my main tank. Did a big water change today and the waters gone cloudy.

Wonder how it will look once adult!

Also excuse the algae, tank gets sunlight and I dont mind it. Plecos will have a feast.
