Hi all,

I was wondering if someone can identify a fish fry for my friend, he has guppies, mollies, a yo-yo loach and a pleco.
The guppies have had fry but this looks completely different to what the others look like. Thanks in advance 🐠

i have asked for more pics but the fry is stuck behind a filter.

Just try to get a side shot like the first guy said it impossible to tell from the first photos

He is getting a fry box tomorrow hopefully it last till then and then I’ll get him to get a better pic

That looks like a plec fry. Does he only have one?

Yeah, only one pleco, and he has had it for about 3 months, so chances are unlikely.

Gotta be a guppy or a molly then...

If he only has one plec and one Loach then it’s a 1 in 2 since it can only be a guppy or molly.
Or it could have come in with some plants...?

As both are Poecilia, reticulata for one sphenops/latipinna/velifera for the other, they can interbreed which result in 95% sterile fry.
