Here is colorful Odin. Despite his name he is very gentle. He lives in a tank with shrimp and boraras maculatus and has not bothered any of them. In fact, if a tiny little boraras is pecking at one of his pellets he will calmly wait until the little guy leaves before going in to eat his food haha

He likes to sleep in the branches of the moss tree in the tank or in a bed of staurogyne repens under a small piece of driftwood.

Beautiful fish.
Thank you! The one in your avatar is quite the specimen, as well! :)
this is an amazing picture! love his colours how long have you had him?
Only a couple of weeks. My wife had been pressuring me to get a betta for quite a while but I had reservations about putting him in a tank with expensive shrimp (I have SS and SSS grade crystal black shrimp in it). I finally felt the tank had enough vegetation to keep the shrimp and babies safe from him and agreed to trying him out. To my relief he is incredibly docile. He showed interest and would inspect his tank mates the first day but never went to strike and he now completely ignores everything else in the tank.
