How Planted of a Tank Can Bettas Live in?

I have a 3 gallon Walstad method tank that has been going strong with shrimp and snails for a little while now. I'm considering getting a baby betta for it, but only if the conditions would be okay (which is why I'm asking here!). *The tank is larger than it looks in photos* *I will also be getting a heater if I ever add a betta to it*
Does this tank have too many plants for a betta to live comfortably?

That is a nice bowl, but I would defiantly trim those plants back.

I would look into upgrading to a 5-10 gallon tank.

move everything to a 5g and put him/her in, they will be happy.
