If it’s a female it’s best too have 2 or 3 females for every one male as males Harass the females pretty hard and stress them. So multiple females kinda separates his attention between all of them instead of stressing one to death.

Best is to have a picture from the side where the anal fin is open. Take a look at the tip of the V-shaped anal fin. Is it rounded, it's a female. Is the tip a bit pointy or do the first finrays become a bit thickened, it's a male.
