Can anyone tell me why I have a soft spot for corydoras,trout,salmon and grayling?

YesssRandom guess here, soft spot? Cause they all have spots?
Then is it something about their fins?It’s not because they have spots,though that’s a great answer,but it’s somefin else.

I’m sure they have worked out that the adipose fin could be a current or flow sensor,as catfish is ponds or low flow rivers either don’t have them or theirs is a lot smaller,something like that and it would explain why game fish,like salmon and trout that live or migrate up fast running rivers have very pronounced adipose fins.
