Hello, went down to the fish store today looking for a few panda cory's since I am down to only two panda cory's... found two different corydora's the store says they are black venezuelan cory's.
What do you guys think..????

What is hard to pick up in pictures is a green color mixed in with the orange and black.

Thats. A bronze cory, get 2 more of them and itll be fine.
i think it is bronze, maybe some something else. Cyte cory tho

I think you are correct.. after a little research they look very similar to the bronze cory... Definitely need to get 3 more of them and 3 more panda cory's..
they have teamed up with the panda cory's and school together, which is awesome to see. I think they were lonely being the only two corys in a tank at the store since they were donated fish in the forgotten community tank on the floor with no light lol.. figured they deserved a better home in my 55 gallon community tank

I've recently been seeing those in a couple of pet stores and they really are beautiful, but I haven't had the space in my aquarium to acquire any yet. The ones in your pictures do look like the ones I've seen, though I don't think your pictures do them justice. The orange coloring is much bolder than what it appears in the pictures.

Yes that sounds a lot better! I find corys will school with other types of corys but could always be an exception. I’m sure they’d love more friends!

Perhaps they're a color variation of the bronze? I know the ones I saw at least were definitely different.
The black in them is a lot bigger than on the bronze one's I've seen. I

They will definitely be getting more buddies of their own kind. I had 6 panda cory's but they had something wrong with them from the petsmart I got them from. Because about a week after I bought them that store shut down all fish sales until may 5th..
Plus I need to find and add about 4 to 7 snakeskin barbs someday. The only problem fish seems to be my blue ram who is trying to show everyone he is the boss.

After some more research and comparing fish they are definitely orange venezuelan Corydoras (Corydoras venezuelanus).
Which is a natural color variant of the bronze Corydoras and means I got a decent deal on them as well, almost 50% off the prices I've seen online for them..

Definitely want to find more of these guys though.. the look good against a lighter or sand substrate.

Definitely.. it's nice to have a LFS that isn't a petsmart or petco and has a wide variety to choose from.
Found a couple snakeskin barbs I've been wanting for a long time and the orange Corydoras are the icing on the cake. they also have adolfoi's but they are pricey at $15 each 4 for $50.

Ya I have to drive 45mins+ to get anywhere that isn’t either a struggling LFS that mostly does grooming and has some fish (sometimes) or a petsmart / petco LOL! Small town problems ?
