2 females. I've got the same issue! Try and make as many caves as possible and spaced apart and hope they find one each to be happy in
Thanks my Lfs sold them to me as a male and female got some caves on the way .Just hope the smaller one can survive till then..not happy as it's not what I paid for..

Males have a pointy and more flowing dorsal fin (circled in pic) and their tail fin is diamond shaped. I think you're in your right to return one and say you asked for a male. Its fair enough, why would anyone ask for two females? I rescued 4 females ?

Exactly..thanks again for the advice.. will take the physco one back it's attacking everything now..recon I'll just stick to the one atm as it's a very new set up..shame I had a pair years ago and they were delightful..
