I've used osmocote diy root tabs using ice in the past and have gotten good results. But yesterday I used osmocote with gel caps and now there are multiple bubbles or foam forming on the surface! What do I do? The livestock are fine but the foam is bothering me. Does the foam harm the fish in the long run? Please help.
I know the gel caps are the culprit here because I threw in an empty gel cap in the first pic and foams are starting to form.
