Just got hold of a pair. Supposedly male and female. Only 2.5/3 inches. I know this is a chappy time to identify sexes. The plan is to breed some up.

One does have very small bristles at the end of the mouth as the other has absolutely nothing. So presuming it's a M/F. Jjst wanted to clarify.

Couldn't get very good pictures but here they are.
Any input is appreciated.

As they grow, you will notice that female bristlenoses will have bristles only around their mouth, whereas males have bristles all over their heads. As well as this, female bristlenoses have wider bodies than males.
Hope this helps. Absolutely gorgeous, too! If you breed them at any point in time, I'll always be interested in seeing!

Yeah I'll keep a log of stages I'll be going through.

Bit of a problem as he said he'll exchange if I don't think it's a male or not. So hard to tell at this age, 6 months is a long time to be waiting to know for sure haha.

Thanks for the reply.
