Woods been in soak over a week now already.Like @Fishfaced said, this'll be a good time to boil the wood and clean all the hardscaping bits and pieces to avoid bleeding (if you're not one to want the tannins in the wood turning your water red)! Good luck! Excited to see how the tank looks when you've got everything set up!
We just shoved mine in the bath for two weeks... Big waste of water but it worked in the end!Woods been in soak over a week now already.
Id need a bloody big pan to boil it in haha. A meter long
Best way i find with the bigger volume of water. Luckly we have a jacuzzi down stairs so i can keep it in there. free's up the bath then so it keeps the wife happy not having to take it out all the whileWe just shoved mine in the bath for two weeks... Big waste of water but it worked in the end!
Ooh, how posh! A jacuzzi sounds nice, especially when it's so stupidly cold at the turn of Spring.Best way i find with the bigger volume of water. We dont use it that often tbh. Its nice now and then to relax the old muscles but id rather turn it into an indoor pond and have some koi in it lolOoh, how posh! A jacuzzi sounds nice, especially when it's so stupidly cold at the turn of Spring.
Koi are probably just as expensive as the jacuzzi! We dont use it that often tbh. Its nice now and then to relax the old muscles but id rather turn it into an indoor pond and have some koi in it lol
Your not far wrong there!Koi are probably just as expensive as the jacuzzi!
The pain is real!Wow, bummer! All those wonderful toys and nowhere to put them!
Lost patience with ND aquatics in the end. Their customer serves is horrific! Gone for the 5ft Juwel rio instead. Is this the 6 foot tank you're getting?? What are you stocking it with?
