Hey all,

Looking at ordering the NiCrew SkyLED for my 20 high, and was wondering if any of you have experience with them? Trying to get the best plant growth while also staying close to a budget (haha).

Also, was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a clip on light for my oddly shaped 15" cube. I've heard you can just use regular shop lights? Is this true? Is there a better option, that wont break the bank?

Thanks in advanced for your help!

I recently bought a new light for the same reason as I wanted better plant growth and this light has been great , it’s not an aquarium light but a light designed for growing indoor plants like tomatoes or other plants , I really rate the light cheap easy to attach to the tank I will say it is missing a blue light , it has red white yellow but no blue

Just to simplify without going into the technical details.
What is your lighting wattage?
If you have a lighting with about 15-20W or more for your size of tank, it will be good enough.
The higher the wattage, the better it is but you will have more algae if you don't reduce the brightness.
