so my 2 female juvenile guppies all have a little tail bend like the tail is on one side. is this because of stunting since when they were children they were under much stress or was it genetical problem, their mother does not have this
Hnm...as far as I know, sometimes fish that are breed in aquariums might be born deformed.so my 2 female juvenile guppies all have a little tail bend like the tail is on one side. is this because of stunting since when they were children they were under much stress or was it genetical problem, their mother does not have this
yeah may be the stuntingHnm...as far as I know, sometimes fish that are breed in aquariums might be born deformed.
gen 2 dosent have bent spine, so the mother is fineWhat makes you think they're stunted? What do you believe caused that?
Deformities like bent spines are common in guppies. Just don't breed those females, and I wouldn't deliberately breed the mother again, although I know that they store sperm so she might continue to have fry.
ill get it on my phone. i dont think its genetic maybe beacuse of all the stunting they had to go through. had a lot of problems.Pictures of the fish?
Probably a genetic deformity but need pictures of the parents and siblings.
