New set up filter position?

Hi, I'm currently in the process of setting up my new aquarium but I have a question.

what is everyone's opinion on best position to put my internal filter, back wall vs side wall?

Which position will provide best aerate/oxygenate the whole tank also provide good flow around the tank?

Mounted on side wall

Mounted on back wall

That's quite a small tank and looks like a fairly basic filter. Flow wise it will make no difference whether sited on the back or the side. Just try it in both positions to see where the flow goes and leave it where it doesn't blow fish and plants where you don't want them!

It's a 60litre tank and fluval u2 filter, il give it a try in both positions thanks
