Pregnant platy?

Yep i think all. Some are on different stages, some are boxed off meanjg their belly is not round kinda like a box. Best way for me is to either scoop the fry into breeder box NOT THE BIG FISH or just let rhem be because my fish never eat fry. Not the same for eveyrbody

Thank you so much for responding. I do have quite a few plants in there also. The other fish I have are bronze and albino Corys, false julii Cory's, 2 guppys, 1 dwarf gourami and 8 neon tetras..any idea if these are likely to eat the fry?Yep i think all. Maybe the big gourami also what are your water conditions and how long has the tank been set up? Tetras may not ev compatible with playies, but they probably have adapted if its a long time already

I see one platy (red one, bottom left) and three swordtails in this picture.
how do you tell them aparrt? sure, i can tell apart wild swordtails, neon swordtails with platies but how do i tell the difference betweem mixed swordtasils and non mixed platies? thanks

The bodysize. The platies derived from the Xiphophorus maculatus have a more compact body in comparison to a swordtail derived from the Xiphophorus hellerii.
I do mention specifically "Xiphophorus hellerii" and "Xiphophorus maculatus". For most fancy swordtails are derived from Xiphophorus hellerii. And most fancy platies are derived from Xiphophorus maculatus. For in the wild, there are also other swordtails that aren't Xiphophorus hellerii. And in the wild, there are more platies that are not Xiphophorus maculatus.

Nice!! So head is lower and body longer for swords.
Yes they are sold in the same tank and have the same pattrrns and sold at the same price at petsmart
