I have mollies, tetras, angels, corys and platys is it safe to turn the heat up to 86/30 because I have an outbreak of white spot disease thanks

Do a 80-90% water change and complete gravel clean before increasing the temperature.

Clean the filter if it hasn't been done in the last 2 weeks. Wash filter media/ materials in a bucket of tank water and re-use the media. Tip the bucket of dirty water on the garden.

Increase the aeration/ surface turbulence to maximise the oxygen levels in the water.

Yes, it's safe. When my wife and I both worked every day, the house would be shut up all day so in the Summer my tank would go to that level fairly often, sometimes for days at a time. Never had any issues, in fact the fish seemed to love it!

Higher water temps hold less dissolved O2, and speeds up the metabolism of the fish, sometimes decreasing their life span...be sure you have plenty of surface agitation, as suggested above.

For ich, I just treat with Seachem Paraguard, and leave my tank temps alone.

I’ve tried it with meds I used king British white spot control with no luck they still have it so I’m going to try the heat method thanks

Do you have carbon in the filter?
Carbon will remove medications from the water and stop the disease being killed off.

Perfectly safe have a look at my thread a few weeks ago, I successfully completed the temp whitespot cure.
I have Corys, 1 of them is getting on a bit now & was worried about them during the heat treatment. The heat in the tank topped out at 31.5oC somedays, Mostly the temp was 30.5oC depending if the wife had the heating on full whack or not ?
They all survived it & the whitespot was gone

That’s cool thanks I have some pics here of my neon it’s not looking so good and I have a platy that’s just sitting on the bottom and her gills are going in and out all the time plus I had a mollie that died yesterday it seemed like he couldn’t breath properly aswell I’ve checked my perimeters and every was ok apart from nitrates so did a little water change and vacuum the gravel and it’s fine now but I’ve not checked ammonia and I can’t until Friday so what do u think it could be pls help

Its difficult to say really without testing the ammonia.
That could be the thing thats wrong
Have you tried using airpump and airstone?
If you dont have these try & make more of a splash with the filter output before you start the heat treatment
