I have 2 butterfly pelco’s we are trying to find out if they are male or female. They always try to get under one another and lay on top of one another

Plecos do strange things together, it very rarely has anything to do with sex. As for sexing these guys near impossible

Understood...they have HUGE bioloads, so stay on top of your water params in the temp tank
