And what’s wrong with my Chinese algae eater it’s supposed to be grey and it’s been grey for most of its life yet in the past year or so it has turned yellow C5199740-1158-4714-B935-9BA3DE4D4AA9.jpeg

I thought Chinese algae eater were also called golden sucking loach and were yellow ??

There are two colour forms of Chinese algae eater - the normal grey and the yellow albino.

But that doesn't explain why this one has changed colour

got a better picture of it?
It still has some grey to it but that’s the best picture I can get because it hides almost all the time

Chinese algae eater will change color as they mature.

I used to have black/brownish colour one and he changed his color in about a month.

the head often changed first
