Hi . This is the top of my tank . How much of the surface should be covered with floating plants ? Any advice welcome please

It depends on the fish you keep. 30-50 % is usually fine.

Guppies Cory's neon tetras . Will plants still grow ok if they are mostly shaded ?

In the shaded part you can grow a whole range of low light plants and they will do just fine

Hmmmmm....... My amazon frogbit covers over 90% of the surface :unsure:

The lower plants are anubias, java fern, bolbitis, bucephalandra - all slow growing, low light plants which seem to thrive. Slowly.
