Hahaha. Ive found that live bearers have long poops probably from picking on algea......but that is a very long poop. You win.

Curious though, isn't long stringy poop sign of disease?

White stringy. Long poop is very normal for platy. I really regret getting Platies because my tank is always full of poop :sick: and babies

I thought the same on first look, but if you zoom in, the poop is dark and look "full", not stringy at all.
From what I understand, the stringy poop connected with disease would be really thin like there's nothing (or sometimes bubbles) inside.
 
Thats a heck of a poop lol.


Though with white stringy poop, not all infected fish get thin, some actually get bloated or fatter.

Ah ok. My barbs poop looks like that too. Solid white with dark matter inside. I’ve tried treatments as precaution. They seem happy enough though and can’t see any physical signs of disease.
