Hey everyone I just joined up. Here is my current 54 gallon platy breeder tank. We just had a newborn so I added a couple Bolivian rams and a krinensis because I won't be able to handle fry for a few months. I also have a giant ramshor, mystery snail, Devils horn, and a few nerite snails. It was once planted but the snails ate $120 worth of plants in about 2 weeks but I do keep a thick carpet of duck weed at the top to at least have one thing that's greenough do alive.

Welcome!

Juggling a lot of guppy, molly and platy fry myself, so I get it! Livebearers are pretty relentless, it's a lot.

Welcome!
Kribensis and rams should not be mixed, and need soft water. I'm assuming you have hard water because it's a livebearer tank. The rams will either fight each other or pair, and if they pair they will fight the krib. I suggest rehoming it, sorry :(.

Hello and welcome to the forum :fish: :hi: :fish:I had the same trouble with snails eating my plants when I had a pair of golden mystery snail. Nice looking snails but they ate several of my plants in no time. They now reside in my bother-in-laws tank when he has only plastic plants for them to eat. :hey:
