No they are not sharp. No injuries on himEdges look like they could be sharp. That could remove his slime coat and perhaps cause other issues

Hey willI hate to be 'that guy' but those Geophagus do not belong in that tank. It looks like it is set up for Africans and I can see some in the picture - Geos need soft/neutral water and no where near tough enough to go with Africans.

Tank is 180 gWhat size is the tank and what other fish do you have? If the Blood Parrot is turning black and is hiding in the cave like that he may be stressed. I am no expert though so I may be wrong.
He gets in there and he's able to get out easily.That....doesn't.....look..... like something I'd want my fish to be doing. Especially in a cichlid tank, where it's defenseless, and could potentially get stuck for a extended period of time. Just imo , nice parrot.
