I transferred my fish to a larger tank a few weeks ago and my bgk kept acting weird since i transferred him. I've been monitoring him, but today he developed this strange, white, mold like, with veins, substance on his skin. I want to treat it as soon as possible, but i dont want to accidentally use the wrong treatment. Help please.

Hello and welcome to the forum! :hi:

Will you please upload a picture of him in his tank? What are your water parameters?

Ive been keeping temp at 85 for now. Ammonia and nitrite arare at 0. Ph 6.7. I can upload images later today.

Ok good on the water parameters. More pictures will definitely help.

He moves around a lot so its hard to take photos.

The fish seems like it has fin rot, excess mucus and maybe fungus.

API makes an excellent general cure medication, can you get your hands on some?

Large daily water changes will also help with the fin rot. Maybe it’s just the way he is angled but I’m pretty sure he has it.
