After the crap advice I got from my local fish shop and the endless water changes I've had to do, today I've had an amazing time at a shop :)

I went to a place called Wharf Aquatics and I've never seen so many fish before!

I even ended up coming out with 3x gold tuxedo Molly's. They are so amazing! The picture isn't doing it justice!

They don't just bag up the fish and that's it, they will ask about tank size etc first.

They had a tank with stingrays in  and some other fish that must have been a good 25" long!

They even had these, not sure what they are called, but they freak me out ha

So, thank you to everyone who has helped me sort my tank out and in future I'll stay away from bad aquarium shops!

(Not sure what rules are in regards to nameing shops, so mods please remove if not allowed with my appologise)

Managed to get myself lost in that shop more than once. Quite an impressive setup.

I only mange too look at the tropical side :(

When COVID is over, I'm going to have a look at everything! They have cold water and marine from what I've heard.

I wanna have a 400l tank by this time next year, seeing the stock has made me wanna go big.

I went into a shop once in San Francisco owned by a little old japanese couple. Every single tank had live plants in it. I just wanted to buy one Amano Shrimp and this guy before he would sell it to me basically did a background check. He wanted to make sure i was going to take care of his shrimp and if i came back with it dead i had the feeling id end up dead. Cute couple:)

those are some nice and healthy looking glass cats! Nice to see a large shoal kept too! My shop always has dying ones, theyre super delicate fish.

I have a feeling I'd like those shop owners lol

I'll take some photos next time I go of the MASSIVE fish they have, I have never seen full size stingrays in a aquarium shop before.

They must have about 50+ tropical tanks, that's not inc. the cold water and marine fish.

They also had quarintean tanks too, the last shop I went in didn't even have any.

Just been looking on an auction site.. 1000L fishtank for £1,350 2nd hand, if only I had the money. I'll just have to dream about a bigger tank for now
