White on fish’s mouth

Had a firemouth for about 2-3 month now and about a week ago I noticed white patch above his mouth that wasn’t there before and I think it’s starting to spread so what can it be and how can I treat it

Maybe a fungal infection? It just looks like coloration to me, as its symmetrical on both sides.
