as some of you know i am trying to breed blue dream shrimp. As well as my cherry barbs are spawning.

I planned this week to make a spawning tank set-up for barbs but haven't, because they eat the eggs i think.

WELL I WAS CHECKING ON SHRIMP TODAY.

And saw this a fry. It must be cherry barb as i moved some java moss from cherry barb tank to the shrimp tank.

QUESTION

I have a tank w juvinile guppies, should i try to put him there? Is he gonna eat my shrimpletts? Or is he still to tiny?

LMFAO such an awesome issue

The shrimp would eat the eggs, I would leave in the tank you found them in or in a fry net if you have one or another container.

cherry barbs do not usually lay eggs in clusters they scatter eggs all over the plants going by your photos it looks like they're all fungus the eggs should be clear and not looking whitish cherry Barb eggs usually Hatch within 24-hours,

Yea i have been watching them spawn for weeks. Just busy with other projects. I will keep an eye on this cluster. If nothing happenes in 48hrs ill remove

That cluster of eggs are bladder snail eggs who lay their eggs in clear clumps of jelly.

Cherry barb eggs are a clear orange colour and scattered singly as if fallen.

You can see a tiny egg here. This is a cherry barb egg. They take only 24-48 hours to hatch.
