Hi, i noticed today that my ottocinclus is looking oddly round. Is it carrying eggs or is it a sign of overfeeding or any sickness? I have attached pictures. Suggestions please. (The white spots seen in the picture are CO2 bubbles seen that way in the photo). Thanks!

Any idea how long it has been fat for?
If it became fat overnight, it could have an internal infection.
If it became fat over a week or two, it could be eggs.

Is the fish eating and pooping normally?
If the fish stops eating or does a stringy white poop, there is a problem (usually an internal bacterial infection).

Water parameters? Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? What is your GH KH and pH? Otos are softwater fish.

I usually don't see them out. I have a densely planted 55 gallon tank and I hardly see them out. I noticed it only today. I'll monitor the poop today and post back the update. Thanks a ton!
