Just noticed this morning some white stuff growing on the side of my Cory and noticed now a little bit growing on one of my neon tetras. Thoughts?

Just doing some searching around and found a 2 dead fish COVERED in this stuff. I quarantined the 2 fish with the white fuzz on it and now doing a water change.

How could I remove/treat this from my Cory. He seems a little stressed and doesn’t move a whole lot.

Sorry for the poor pictures. Hopefully these are better. Unfortunately the Cory died over night. It seems to look like a white fuzzy growth.

Saprolegnia fungus on a bacterial infection.

The fish was injured and got a minor bacterial infection on the side of the body, and the fungus infected the damaged tissue.

You can try salt (2 heaped tablespoons per 20 litres, for 2 weeks) or use a broad spectrum fish medication that treats fungus, bacteria and protozoan infections.
