Looks good!

You should enter yourtanjs in our Tank of the Month contest.
July 1st.. tanks sized at 17 to 29 US gallons
Sept 1st ...Tanks sized 30 gallons and larger
I just did the moss balls on manzanita branches to hide pvc for catfish in 55gal tank. That would give me incentive to finish a few more projects I want to do

I am so jealous!! :p I wish I had a room, or at least a corner of a room that I could devote to tanks... I have my 55 gallon in the living room, and we had to move furniture around to make room for it.. I want to have multiple tanks, but I am just not sure where I would put more... But, I guess there is always the basement that I could take over... It is currently unfinished, but we are working on it.. I will have to fight my husband for space though, as he wants his "Man Cave"...

I wish I had a fish room! :p

I love how modern/bright it is. That color of floor and walls really accents the tank. :good:

That is a benefit of being single. Lmfao!!! I have my twin 9yr olds half time. So currently my house is a dictatorship.

Your tans look mazing!
Do you not get a lot of evaporation with those tanks with no hood?

Also - why do the fish not jump out? I had two corydoras jump out of the tannkmany years ago, and the sight of their dried up little carapaces when we finally found them haunts me yet.

I do run with no hoods. Where I live even this week got into 90's. So I hit 105+ every year. I do have AC but just with fan blowing on open lids I get evaporate cooling. Lid in my 55 vs off on hot day can be 4 degrees.

I specifically don't get killifish or known jumpers. I do have 9 corys I just got that will go in the 55 after quarantine. The 55 has the black rim and just the tiny ridge helps. Plus lots of hiding spots if scared. Also I fill like inch down in those tanks and 2in in rimless.

So today i am blacking out 3 sides of all tanks on my rack by window. (Slight algae issue plus I think looks great) .67 cent sheets of poster board.
Shrimp tank done.
Guppy tank done. Betta got permanent home in kids room.

Shrimp tank also got sponge filter and more plants. No more HOB.
Later today I'll update as I'm working on cherry barb tank on top rack.

Your tanks look very nice :good: , I have my 55 gallon in the living room and my other 3 tanks in the family room where there is more sun (south side) My 55 gallon is my tetra tank. I would love to have a "fish tank" room but with all my other hobbies I have taken over too much of the house already:devil: and I have to give my wife some room too:flowers::angel:
