So i did a final count of fry!

67!! Somehow i mixed up a count with eggs haha

Took a photo of all of them and did an official count, marking them with white dots on the image so i didn't count any twice.

I also moved all the them into the big container with sand. Including the bigger guy!

They're doing good! A couple of the late hatchers havent shaken off their eggs yet, im not really sure what to do about that except hope they get it off, but the older ones have had their first feeding today. And the oldest Solo is doing really well too

And the platies. Got some big fat bellies on some of these porkers. One of their feedings has increased to the micropellet sized Bug Bites, while the other feedings still their powdered foods.

The platies are showing some wag pattern coming through! Fins are starting to turn black. Excited, these are my first wag babies after 5 batches of fry from one female! Definitely think my wag boy is the father of these. Ill be very curious to see how their patterns further develop.
This is the largest baby, showing some neat patterns starting.
At 28 days old

And the cory fry... big Solo with a youngster nearby. Look at the size differences!
Solo is 20 days old and the little guys are 3-6 days old

Small update after doing their daily water change.

7 fry unfortunately did not make it. I had 10 when added to the big bin that had their heads stuck in the egg cases. Only 3 were able to get out it seems. The 7 today were of those individuals. Its not a surprise, but it is what it is.

Current count is 61 total (thats with Solo)

The 7 losses yesterday was a warning sign. Ive had a mass die off, not 100% sure why.

I have 34 fry left, including Solo.

Ive segregated ths survivors to monitor closer. Many of the fry that passed were smaller ones.

Not a good day today.
