Neon Tetras chasing each other?

Ive also found it easy to tell by looking at their side profile. Coincides with the straight and kinked blue line method too.

So the one is post #1 is most likely a male? Here are the best pictures I could get:

I'm pretty sure (just from my count) that I have 3 males and 5 females. But I would love to get your opinions.

I just look at the neon being chased and figure that is the female but I have noticed they are usually rounder than the ones chasing them.
 
So after counting and recounting, I figured I have 3-4 males and 5-6 females. I was dumb when I got them, and didn't check to see if he was scooping out males or females.

Is this is a good ratio?

That should be good. Here’s a pic of some of mine at feeding time. Ignore tank. It’s empty right now because I’m still treating for ich. Note the cories in the middle of it all. Lol!
