Fat or pregnant fish?

Hi I have no idea how to tell if my fish are female or male but is this fish just getting fat or pregnant?

Its male. :) you can tell by the anal fin. Males are pointed and females look famed out. Females also have a gravid spot

It could also be a female with the anal fin tucked up. The OP will need to watch the fish and see if the anal fin flares out and looks like a fan or triangle shape. If it does then it's a female. If the anal fin is actually long and thin then its a male.
