Tank Lighting comparisons

Hi, I am on a limited budget and wanted to upgrade my tank lighting. Here are some pictures of my tank with different kinds of lighting.
All are 10 gal tank except the last picture it is 20 gal.
1. The first ones are CFL . Picture of CFL 2700 k and 5000 k, both 10 gal tank.

2. The second set is of LED
3. The third set is Incondescent
4. And Fluorescent 20 gal tank

What's your budget? There may be a better plant light out there that is less expensive. .

Plants won't do as well under the CFL with 2700K globes. If you can get globes with a 6500K rating (or close to that), the plants will do better.

CFL's on the 10 gal are 2700k and the plants are growing surprisingly good. I recently shopped around and
was able to find CFL 5000k "Daylight". I have changed to the 5000k's. It will be interesting to see what the plant
growth rate will be. If it changes at all.
