Betta VS Cucumber?

Hello TFF. I just have a quick question... Is it bad for bettas to eat cucumbers?

I out a blanched cucumber slice in my 10g tank and I think he’s eating it. (See picture*)

He also looks bloated. (From eating the cucumber)

Bettas will eat and eat, but I'm unsure if they should eat veggies (peas is an exception) as they are made to eat insects.

You can leave it if you want, my little Candy would eat any veggie. Even Larry.

It's fine if he eats some, as long as he gets other food too, there won't be any problems.

Ok, I’ll leave it in for now. I might move it back into the Anacharis forest a bit, so he can’t get to it.

Don't leave it in too long or it'll go mushy and horrible.
