I have a leopard print plec and have had him for a year now with no problems at all but on my last water change as I finished topping the tank off the plec went back to his original resting place and when I came down the next morning he was stuck inside and ornament, he must of been spooked or something because he had lacerations to his sides and all his fins were frayed now I've been putting anti fungus and finrot treatment in there just not sure what else I should be doing

It'll heal on its own during some time, better to do some water changes to prevent an infection, increasing temperature to 80 F will slow down and decrease the risk of an infection or a disease, but I might be wrong though.

I have a female swordtail and she got stuck in my skull decor and she lost some of her scales and her belly got sunken in when she tried to get out.
I did a water change and then the next day I moved her to my bettas tank with heater in it and the fact that it is cycled.

What are your water parameters, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? Is the tank cycled and for how long? How big is the tank?

Wipe the inside of the glass down with a clean fish sponge.

Do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate every day for a couple of weeks.
Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.

Clean the filter if it hasn't been done in the last 2 weeks. Wash filter media/ materials in a bucket of tank water and re-use the media. Tip the bucket of dirty water on the garden/ lawn.

Increase aeration/ surface turbulence to maximise oxygen levels in the water.

Be careful using chemicals in tanks with catfish, eels and loaches. These fish are scaleless and don't tolerate many chemicals.

Salt (sodium chloride) can be added to help reduce fungal and bacterial infections. Add 1-2 heaped tablespoons of rock salt, sea salt, or swimming pool salt for every 20 litres (5 gallons) of tank water. Keep the salt in the tank for 2 weeks.
When you do daily water changes for the 2 weeks, add salt to the new water before adding it to the tank so the salinity (salt level) in the aquarium remains stable.

-------------
Make sure there is driftwood and algae in the tank for the suckermouth catfish
