Is Ths Neon Ready To Breed or Sick?

Got these neons shipped to me yesterday. Five died from heat because no cool pack added. Stupid! Anyway, this female has a swollen belly. I treated tank with General Cure but then I thought “could she be carrying eggs?” @Colin_T, what do you think? @Byron?

looks deformed fat but could be eggs and a big meal.
the middle fish in the second picture looks more normal for a neon tetra with eggs.

keep them quarantined for 4 weeks and see how t goes. maybe treat them for intestinal worms. The general cure should have done any tapeworm so look at treating for thread worms. If there's no improvement it is probably something else.

Thanks for the info. Females actually spawned last night. Found a few eggs but most were eaten.
