Two Albino Corydoras Catfish added to collection.

Well my hubby brought back the other day 2 Albino cory catfish after he found an aquarium selling fish but you couldn't view them as they had a barrier up but they're so cute and took off well and my bronze loves playing with them.

Cool. I'm jealous you can get fish. Sadly my mother won't let me get my dream kuhlis until we're in middle of going down after the peak

It was the only place selling them, my usual place aren't selling any, only medication for fish.

Mm.. pets at home are selling fish. Well, atleast my local one and maidenhead aquatics are closed until the lock down's over.

I don't shop with Pets at home with a couple of stories i was told about them.

What about them?

I have albino cory and they are very active, I was thinking of getting pepper corys to play with them but have to wait. Our LFS is open but has trouble stocking fish. He can special order plants still. But has trouble getting fish.

Well we have a friend who as Tropical fish in the home and also building a large pond outside, showed him my tank before this covid started and he asked where i brought my fish from, i said Dolittles and he said never buy from Pets at home, we asked why and he said i have a friend who works in their and i went to purchase some fish and he told me not to bother, as they don't quarantine the fish as they come in, they put them straight out for normal sale and they had complaints about fish dying on them, so it makes you wonder are the clean tanks just for show.

I would get bronze cory as my one played with the two straight away the same night but i've not seen my pepper do it, they seem to keep to one another and my emeralds are the same, why i've not got a clue.

No i'm having to wait for my main place to sell the fish but where the Albino's come from they have some nice different fish but at the moment they have a barrier my hubby said and you have to tell him what you want and he fetches them.

At my LFS I can still walk in and look around, just not as many fish to choose from. The local Petco only allows a few people in at a time and has a sign saying necessary purchases only. I have been buying mostly plants lately.

Well nobody is selling fish here and my husband thought that small aquarium shop wouldn't as they closed when the lock down happened and they're the only ones selling and Dolittles are only selling necessary things for fish such as food and chemical treatments but that small shop he had my albino's from extended at the back and they do have adorable betta's in there

I did buy a fancy guppy and a mate (must buy a pair) at the LFS. I am currently planted/silent cycling my 30 gallon LOTR tank and put them in with 5 feeder guppies I had. Nice looking fancy guppy with a red/orange tail. I wasn't going to buy him but his tail looked great.

I just adore guppies so graceful in a tank and make the colour but my favourite is pure red tails and the wider the the tail the better the guppy breed...so you did right by buying him

How come yourself and other members can take a snap so clear, i can't as they either twist or move to quick

Lovely tail and good body size is the body a silver look or blue? i can't wait for my black guppies tail to develop more colouring as across is tail he's got a white line developing right on the edge.

Sometimes I have to try several times to get a good picture between glare, reflections and the fish moving and blurring the picture. For every good picture I have 3 bad, good thing my camera does not need film It is silver
