My all male tank...

Whatever that is that they are eating they look like they love it.
It's a spirulina sinking tablet.
Very hardy and beautiful - I do not see that many male guppies at the LFS with that much energy!
These are round and spadetails. It's important that fish are healthy and energetic. Variation in food is preferable. But these are also young males.

I see you always have a lot of fish. Do you sell them. Or just grow them and breed ?

I keep and breed several kinds of fish (mainly livebearers). I do sell but not specifically for the sale itself or the profit. I'm a serious aquarist (keeper and breeder). I do sell them at relevant meetings or vivaristic events where I know that serious aquarists are interested in. But also organizations like research centers, zoos and other organizations that benefit from it can appeal to me.
I do create new guppy lines as well. And it's always fun to see some of your own creations end up in the commercial trade or even at shows.

Hope this may answer your questions...

That is so cool that you can create new variations that have never been seen before...

It’s just so cool to me! :fish::yahoo:

I have read your profile and wow, what’s make you really into livebearers? Its always interesting to see different type of livebearers as you post so keep it up :)

Well, it's cool indeed. But you do have to realize that it's a serious time investment. So, patience is golden in this case. And knowledge of genetics is preferable.

Well, thank you for reading it...
My parents started back in the 1960's with fishtanks to start with. Their fault that I got so fascinated by fish. We've kept several kinds of fish throughout the years. I had my first fishtank back in the 1970's. And at some point as a boy I got so fascinated by the livebearers available at that time period. It's also a shame that a lot of fish species from the '70's have dissappeared from the aquarium scene. Certain livebearer species from back then have become rare these days. And wild livebearer species has always been an attraction to me. This fascination and passion has kept a hold on me for over 45 years now.
But I'm interested in all that nature has to offer...
