Hi all

These little guys are 2 weeks now but I am unsure as to what breed they are. I thought swordtail but I think I’m wrong. Either way I’m not to worried, they are in the fry tank now and are active as anything. They are eating really well too as you can tell with their fat little tummies. So cute

I have guppies, swordtails and mollies. Definitely not mollies I know that

Look like guppies to me. Swordtail and mollies have a different body type

What colour are the adult mollies, guppies and swordtails?

Baby mollies are normally the same colour as their parents. If you have black mollies, the babies will be black when born. Swordtails are the same and orange swordtails produce orange babies.

The colour would suggest they are guppies but they seem to be a bit longer than guppies should be.

I have 2 orange and a silver swordtails, black mollies. I thought swordtail but my silver girl still looks heavily pregnant and starting to square hence why I’m questioning the little guys. Maybe I just wait till they are a bit older and see.

Yeah me too. They are loving the bigger tank and swim like crazy as they pick at the elodea and moss. Happy little guys they are
