Can I use lava rock to attach plants to?
I have black in my tanks, sone as decoration and some in filter as "media" , I guess I thought it was a good idea, since it is porous.

Anyway, none in my Betta tanks because of their fins.

I found some red lava rock and boiled it like crazy with some wood.
Are the rocks and wood okay to glue plants onto,?

Also some of the java fern literally fits into the rocks and wood, is that enough?

Yes you can attach plants to lava rock. I have java fern and Anubias attaches currently in my tanks.

It depends on where you found the wood and the rock. (What kind of wood is it?

I also don’t recommend using gorilla glue. Not only is it complete overkill, I’ve never heard of anyone in the aquarium industry recommending it.

I have lave rocks in my 55 gallon. you can also use thread to attach ferns to them. I also use Flourish glue which is made for use in aquariums

There’s really no need IMO to get this expensive aquarium glue. Just use super glue. Make sure it is completely dry before you out it in your tank, or the plant will come off.

I usually use a mixture or Thin fishing line and super glue to attach my plants.
