help..my angelfishes fin was ripped this morning (pic attached)

Do you think its been attacked or rubbed against something? (sometimes it lies against the filter) i was worried it might be finrot

another angelfish..(which sometimes chases him) 2 clown loach, 4 platies and a common pleco

It looks like finrot to me, Finfot is caused when the fish become stressed normally by poor water conditions. Do a 20% water change every two days for about a week and it should clear up and dont forget to add stresscoat. Let us know how you get on.

I would say it got damage either by another fish or with the decorations on the tank.

It's a water conditioner that you can buy at your local fish store. It's a realy good product.

Just make sure you keep up on the water changes to avoid any fin rot problems. Angels love fresh water and it certainly wont hurt any of the other tank mates either. Glad to here the angel is healing.
