What is wrong with my shrimp?

I have had my amano shrimp for about a week and noticed a discoloration in the back and some weird goop on his legs. He seems to be doing fine and so are my other shrimp and fish. I have separated him but i dont know what he has. Any advice?

I don't know what is wrong; I'm posting to invite knowledgeable shrimp folk to reply.

I got my first Amano shrimp about 3 months ago and I couldn't believe how much I loved him or her. I never knew how personable they are.
I eventually got another one and now they are a pair of cuties. I hope you find out what's wrong real soon!

Could be getting ready to molt. Also Amanos are very social if you have the chance id get more they feel safer in groups.

When my ghost shrimp get ready to molt you see their shell get a light gray to even a white outline.
