Lollypop Tank

5 gallon "Plexi" cube used by restaurants for refrigerated food storage.
One month old, it began as an emergency tank for a nippy Danio and repository for extra floating plant pluckings.
Filtration consists of a filter from a Top Fin 3.5 gallon Enchant tank inserted into a plastic Top Fin Three Way breeding tank with a used filter cartridge from a running tank, a used Fluval baffle filter, and a filter media bag full of the red mossy stuff elsewhere in the tank, all suction-cupped to the inside of the cube.
Lighting is an Aqueon clip-on unit with 18 white and three blue LEDs part of the day, and just a nearby lamp another part.
Heater, yes.
Water: no nitrites, ph 7.2, ammonia too hard to tell, honestly, I lost the chart that comes with the kit and had to use one from the internet...must moniter.
Feedings, yes. Various foods including Hikari First Bites, Bloodworms, Hikari pellets regular sized and pulverized, Shrimp eggs.
Inhabitants:
Lollypop, pink and yellow striped "glo" Danio
Squirt, my lone Green Neon Tetra
White Tara, Mystery Snail
Frick & Frack, RCS & Green "Candy" Shrimp
Wood with Annubias sprouts.
Struggling Annubias with one leaf.
Floaters.
Rose Quartz.
Thanks!

End of Entries: please slowly scroll up as your review the 6 entries and then cast your vote in the poll at the top of this thread. Thanks to everyone who participated in this month's TOTM.

please note: AJE and WinterSoldier were disqualified as they did not post a validation pic with note attached. I hope you will re-enter in March TOTM.

Next up is our Fish of the Month contest starting in mid February. You may enter any fish in your household in the FOTM contest.

A validation pic is to show that you own the tank and that it is a recent pic.

But do you have to have a TOTM note card taped on your tank?

yes, you need a note for all our contests...you can attach it to the entry or hold it in front of entry...it must be handwritten and say MONTH, YEAR, TFF, Contest name (TOTM, FOTM, or POTM)...the rule is stated in my first post for all the contests. If you wish you can add a second pic without the note attached (or a video ...only for TOTM) which will be your entry pic
