The molly is suffering; note the position of the dorsal fin. Whatever it is, it isn't normal & likely can't be fixed (my guesses would be parasite or infection, but I've never seen a prolapsed gut). Were it my fish, I'd remove it & humanely euthanize it (I put mine in a covered cup of tank water & place it in the freezer where the fish will 'go to sleep'). I'm not a fish health expert, but in over 50 years of this hobby, I've seen almost no success in fish recovering from anything except ich and an injured fin w/fungus. These problems quit being a problem for me when I learned to be fanatic about water quality, FYI. When I have to euth a fish nowadays, it's almost always due to advanced old age making it too crooked to swim properly & thus getting picked on by others. Good luck.

Please do not put a live fish in the freezer.

There are two ways to euthanise a fish.
Either remove it from the tank, place between a couple of layers of paper towel and crush it - do this as quickly as you can - or use clove oil. Mix clove oil and water, place the fish in a tub of tank water then add the clove oil/water mixture a bit at a time until the fish stops moving. Wait until you are certain it is dead before disposing of the body.

The precise method can be found here, together with other 'good' methods and some bad ones (which include putting live fish in the freezer). https://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/fishkeeping-news/painful-fish-deaths-you-might-be-guilty

I must agree with essjay. Please, please don’t freeze the fish. That is inhumane and quite painful to the fish. Once he freezes, he actually suffocates.

What?

If a fish is frozen its dead so can't suffocate.

A lot of fish slow down when the temperature drops. When it gets too cold they pass out. When the water freezes they die, assuming they haven't died before it freezes.

Just as in a pond, if the ice freezes over before the fish is dead it will have no oxygen and will suffocate. That’s why we must use de-icers in ponds. In a glass of water the ice will begin freezing from the top. Therefore, lack of oxygen. Fish can actually survive being frozen in ponds as long as there is a de-Icer leaving a hole for oxygen.
