Why bettas are so expensive?

I live in Thailand , red crowntail betta is 1 dollar though.

This one is 200 $ one

That is true. For example, a regular delta Tale cost around $12, but a blue orchid Delta Tale cost around $20. To people these days it’s the the color, not the fin shape. People only care about fancy fins and delight colors. “Plain ole’” veil tales are getting more and more unpopular. People just think they are trash and not pretty. It’s sad.

Really? Here crowntail cost $4-$8!

That second betta makes sense. That is a plakat marble koi betta, very pretty.

Some bettas are worth 600 dollars bug the price never drops overtime one of my closd friends has a betta farm in vietnam and some bettas are bred with other species of betta to give its colorful look and so i think itd worth more than 500 dollars
