Hi all

I have 7 rosy barbs and told all were male but there is one that is a bit more colourless and seems to have the others chase it. Have I ended up with 6 males and 1 female here?

Affraid so, the top Rosy very much looks like a female.
Pale colour, bit plumper round mid section and has no black marking on top fin

They can pester the females a little. My Odessa and Cherry barbs like playing chase but i have more females to spread the chasing out.

Could you return the female at all? Or have room to even the numbers out?

No it’s all good, I will keep her. She has adapted to my tank nicely. She will just have to put up with the crazy boys.
