Well, nobody ever responded to me, I am assuming because nobody really knew the answer. Anyways, just
in case anyone else might be interested, I managed to get the Python to work on my sink using a Hozelock adapter. I tied slipping on the little rubber universal adapter that came with my Python, and I managed to get it to fit over the little plastic aerator thingy that is attached to the end of my faucet. I screwed it tight with the clamp, it stuck and didn't leak any water when I turned the tap on. Great, so I thought, until I attached the Python, but then just the sheer weight of the python pulled the adapter off of my tap, so it certainly wasn't going to hold with the water pressure. Then I tried the sink in my bathroom as it's also a mixer tap and the little aerator unscrews and the python adapter screws perfectly fine into the tap. Unfortunately, the water pressure on my bathroom sink wasn't strong enough to suck water from the tank and it ended up pushing the water back into the tank and started filling it!
Took one last chance and got a Hozelock universal tap connector and, it came with a washer that created a perfect seal on my kitchen tap.I then stuck the Python adapter onto the male end of the Hozelock, and it was a perfect fit. Hooked up the Python pump to the adapter and then screwed the Python on. It worded perfectly, and it made the water change on my 350L
so easy! The seals were pretty much perfect and I was bale to drain about 30/35% of my tank in a little less than 8 mins or so. It refilled my tank even faster, and the only issue I had was that there was a little bit of dribble spraying out of the adapters when I turned the Python to "fill" but had the hose closed between the time I took it from the sink to the tank, obviously because of the pressure. All in all, I think that it was well worth the purchase, even though it took a tiny bit of trial and error with an adapter. The first picture is my kitchen tap and the second one is my tap with the Hozelock connecter attached, and the rubber Python adapter attached to that. The Python pump then screws directly onto the adapter.
