WHAT IS THIS ?! Brown Underbelly on Shrimp?!

Hello.
i am quite concerned with my couple years old bamboo shrimp.
Always been healthy and all.
Over the past few days i have noticed that it has a brown underbelly (never happened before).
It is constantly touching it and waving its little feet about.
Does not look like eggs. It looks like it’s sectioned and attached to the leg parts.

Please have a look at the photos i have attached as i’m very worried.

Gosh, I don’t know. Looks irritated though. Have you googled bamboo Shrimp diseases? I have red cherry shrimp but nothing like this. Please keep us posted.

Looks like eggs to me and by the behaviour it sounds like eggs too.

Eggs are attached to the swimmerets (pleopods) and the female will move the pleopods back and forth to move water over the developing eggs. She will also clean the eggs by picking off dirt, debris and anything else on them.

I have to disagree with Colin_T on this one. Eggs are distinct and you can see them bouncing around. That looks more like an infection. If you’ve had the shrimp for a couple of years I’m quite sure that you are familiar with what eggs look like.
